We spent our Easter weekend in Southern Ireland. Started our trip in Cork where we met few friends, had some amazing coffees. It was already late and didn't have much time to walk around, we had to drive an other hour and half to the Holy Well Cottage in Ardfield. Two afternoons we ended up in Kinsale, we've been here before, but it was a while since our last visit. Because of the stormy weather on the first day we mostly enjoyed its culinary offerings and popped into few shops, I even got a nice wool sock. The next day was definitely better, clear sky and some sunshine. We got lucky. After a walk, some fun time with the kids at the playground and the [...]
In the last few months I had to go up to Belfast because of work and I never travel without my camera so I made a few shots while I was there. Some days were cloudy and rainy, other days I had some sunshine. Couple of occasions I had to stay late and I had a little walk after the sun went down. Every single time I saw a different side of Belfast as I walked along and captured some of its great vibe.

It's been a while I last posted some images from the streets of Dublin, so it was time to go through my photos from the last couple of months and share my favourites with you. We had a few good days when it wasn't raining (it does now), even had some nice sunny moments and I was able to play around with shadows and lights in few occasions. I hope you will like them.

Again, it was one of those weekends when you can't really do much, because of strong winds and rain all day. Winter is coming, so we decided to dig out some of our warm hats and take some silly photos while trying them on. Hanna, my older daughter made hundreds of images, I'll edit them later and make a blog post out of it. Until then here are few shots from our funny hat and lazy pyjama Sunday.

An other collection of images from the streets of Dublin. All photos were taken in the last couple of weeks with the newly acquired Fuji X100t. Enjoy!
This post was long overdue, but finally it's here. Back in August I had a chance to drop into some speciality cafes in London. Obviously there are plenty of places worth to visit, but if you really only have one day you have to narrow it down. My first stop was Caravan at King's Cross, where I got an amazing flat white, then I continued to fuel my coffee habits in Kaffeine, then Nude and Flat White followed. At this point I had to slow down a little bit, it was only half 11, but I already had 6 cups of the black stuff in me and started to feel a bit dizzy. After a quick look at my list I realised I can't really [...]
Ok, it wasn't only one day. I was in London for a couple of days on the second week of August, but I had only one day when I could grab my camera and take a few shots between the places I was going to visit. Because all these businesses were close enough to each other (or at least that's what I thought), I decided to walk. By the end of that day I was pretty tired, I did over 20km. I have been to several speciality coffee shops and I drunk a huge amount of the black stuff. More thoughts and images are coming in my next post about these cafes, but until then have a look at my photos from the streets of [...]
I spent a few days in Glasgow recently and I was looking forward to do some photo walks, but my busy schedule and the crazy weather crossed my plans. Overall I had spent half an hour in the city with my camera and then I had to rush back to the hotel because of the pouring rain. Needless to say I love the city, the vibe and its architecture and when I'm back next time hopefully I'll have more luck.

The sun has finally came out and it's slowly getting warmer here in Ireland. Sunshine, clear sky, less rain. That's all you need and the people on the streets seems to be happier too. I even got few more smiles from my subjects while I made some snapshots in the last couple of days. But you never know how long the summer last here, so try to make the most out of it.

I shot the following images on an afternoon last week while I was walking home from Temple Bar, Dublin city centre. Although it's only half an hour walk but there is a possible story on every each corner and you never know what or who you will run into. If I have time I like to slow down a bit to observe my surroundings and capture some unique moments which I can share later on.
